Well, due to unfortunate circumstances...I'm leaving DevianART for good.

My mom never wanted me on DeviantART. Yeah, I've been here before, just not as a user. Well, a few months after being told not to, I made myself an account in secret, and my mom never found out...

...until the guilt pressed on me. It's never easy to lie to my mom, and eventually, I make myself confess. She wasn't mad, but she did explain something to me.

There are many people in the world who do things they regret later on in their life. Not saying that I didn't enjoy my time here. I met a lot of nice people, very talented artists, and some of you even came to be my friend. But...do I really want my reputation to be known here? I mean, there are a lot of good pictures on here, but there are also some that...make me feel not good about myself. If anyone from my family who enjoys looking at my art come looking at this site, going through their heads would be: "What in the world was she thinking?!?"

And I am thinking that right now. I have to decide right away that I'm am going to make the right choices, before I regret it later. Being an artist is something I've wanted more than anything in my entire life. But in order to get somewhere good with it, I have to start somewhere good with it.

I might be posting another journal sometime later if I find another art website that's cleaner (and one that my mom approves) and put a link on it if anyone still wants to look at my pictures.

But I'll understand if you don't. Lying is one of the worst things someone can do, and I wouldn't blame you if you now hate me for this.

And now I begin my search...
